For me this isn’t about a photo session, or even the pictures, it’s about You....Your Family.....Your moment! Don't worry about posing and feeling stiff in front of the camera. I will guide from beginning to end! We will talk and laugh. I will even play music for you if you request it! Parents with young children please don't panic. I will work with your sweet babies. My children are 9, 13 and 16 now but I do remember the days of getting them to cooperative during a photo session. My process is carefree and my only goal is to capture your true self. To tell your story.....Let's create some memories together!

BOOKING & Planning
My goal is to make your session a comfortable experience! After booking, signing a contract and parking your retainer fee, I email a questionnaire so I can learn some more about you! We’ll schedule a quick call to discuss things and plan everything out. If you need assistance with location and/or styling...I am here to help!

Picture time
The big day! I usually arrive 20 minutes early to the meet location to test my equipment and make sure there are no last minutes issues with the location. We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other. After the session, I will send a sneak peek within 48 hours. Love to give you something to look forward to!
04.
Delivering photos
In two weeks, you will receive your digital photographs via an online gallery. Through this gallery you can download your high and social resolution photos.
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Don't worry! I will provide you with all the important details and explain the process to you via an email so you can refer back to it. You will be have access to my telephone number to contact me with your questions.
What should I wear?
Don't know what to wear! No worries, I can assist you with color matching and outfit recommendation for you and the entire family.
How many pictures will I receive?
Please reference to the investment section of my website for details.
Are you available outside of Northern Virginia?
I will travel 60 miles from my home for a photo session for free. Travel outside of the 60 miles will have a travel fee additional cost starting at $40. Please contact me to discuss.
Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
A week before our session I will send an email and text message reminder of our scheduled session date, time and location. At this time, I will start monitoring the weather in case we need to reschedule. I understand that life can be unpredictable and situations can arise. Please communicate any issues with me immediately so I can work with you and your situation in case we need to reschedule. *CANCELLATION will result in loss of retainer fee.
Do you have a studio?
No..I do all my photography outdoors. I am primarily a natural light photographer but I do use off-camera flash when necessary specifically more for indoor events. I do offer in-home lifestyle family, couple and infant sessions. These sessions can take place in your home or a location of your choice. When choosing to request a in-home session please keep in mind the amount of natural light that enters your home. The more the better! I can use off-camera flash put it will definitely impact the appearance of your photographs.
